Awesome :D I struggled for 3 hours when I originally did this. I had to take a break and leave the machine alone. Came back and noticed what I was doing wrong. Funny part is, every video I saw about putting together a clutch would have a video edit *skip* attempting to put the cover on. It was frustrating.

You're a life saver!! 1.5 hours last night trying to put the cover on - did what you said in your video and bang! straight on first time! It was on a CBR1000RR Fireblade but the principal is exactly the same!! THANK YOU :D

Awesome :D. I just replaced my own clutch cover about two weeks ago (again haha). I watched this video before doing it and it was a heck of a lot less painful this time. It's funny; I recall watching other videos of the clutch cover being installed and they would suspiciously "skip" past this part with a noticeable video edit. Any case, glad it was helpful for you and happy to see it helped other people too.

Nice, every video I looked up for putting the clutch together noticeably skipped at putting on the cover and I struggled pretty hard with it. Glad you found it useful.

Just a reference. This method also works on the 2006 cbr1000rr.
