My '15 S80 has a rattle behind the passenger rear door. Volvo couldn't hear it!(?) I think it's just a wire to the LED light in the door handle that's hitting. Anyway, thanks. Now I know how to remove it...I was expecting it to be like my VW...glad I found you.

How do you remove the switch panel bezel? I want to replace the drivers' side bezel because it has some markings on it. But I don't want to remove the whole door panel if I don't have to. Thanks for your help!

Did you find out if only plastic can be removed? I plan to do the same ...
@michigan_supercars65692 жыл бұрын
@@juricamaric Not yet, I have kinda put that project on the back burner. But I am still looking into it. I'm assuming if you take the entire door panel off you could probably pop that piece out and replace it with another. Might be some tabs that you have to push but idk for sure. Hope this helps :)

@@michigan_supercars6569 today, i saw this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXbZfWtrjZaYgNE and succeed in removing front plastic bazels 😃 It’s not so easy because bottom buckle is really hard to remove, so it was last which I was removed.

@@juricamaric This is very helpful! Thank you! I'm glad there is a way to do it without having to removing the entire door panel. But it does look tricky. Looking forward to doing this now that I have an idea on what it takes 😄

I'm trying to do the same thing. I think my latch is busted. I took all the screws out but cant figure how to remove all the way as it is some how connected to the glass. Have you had any luck figuring this out?
@rcs95d5 жыл бұрын
@@dustinbeckman2141 What did you end up doing? sounds like I'm having the same issue.

Glass needs to be removed before attempting to remove the black plastic panel for access to the inside of the exterior door handle assembly. Doesn't look too difficult according to ALLDATA but part of the directions look pretty ambiguous
