Hey I have 2017 challenger rt and I want to switch to stock set up because I want to put wider tires at rear and previous guy did switch to lowering springs so what’s the best set up I can go for to make room for wide tires and they come out .5’’ from rear fender

Should I just buy the new springs and good to go or what can I do to raise the height?

You could use wheel spacers to push wheel out…if you experience rubbibg you could roll fenders…But ride height is determined mostly by springs…Some folks put spacers on springs to lift vehicle..or clamps to slight lower vehicle…stock springs are taller than sports spring…so all factors and options

I have a 2011 Challenger R/T. I purchased the Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, and installed them last weekend. I am experienced with working on cars since I was a teenager, and of course Mopars. I followed your video and things went very well, until you do the rear springs. I must add that this is a two person job in the rear. The support that is hooked to the shock and the frame was the tough part, because the metal support tends to tweak, and trying to get the bolt through was a frustrating one. You might want to use a a smaller hydraulic jack as well as the floor jack to help in aligning the metal support to get the bolt through. Other than that, it looks great and handles well. The whole suspension feels much tighter.

Just finished this mod thiis evening. Not to bad of a job, 2 guys made it easier, especially the rear. Only thing i don't like..... made ot a bouncy ride, especially the front end. Looks bad ass though. This video was priceless!!!

wait the rear shocks are self leveling how did you lower without changing the shocks as well?

How come in the rear you put the bolt the other way the one in by the exhaust?

If you exclude install instructions the rest was all marketing….it will drop 1 1/4-1 1/2 inch or so..maybe you get same performance with sports struts/shock set up…which brings up question do yo need sports struts/shocks (shorter dampers) because you have changed ride height and could you have accomplished same improvement with upgraded struts/shocks…I think Eibach acknowledges you should upgrade struts…all that bouncing from suspension from regular driving is sign…one springs are stiffer than stock and/or struts inadequate or are weak…or will become weak having over work managing stiff springs..You will need to re/calculate cost and add in price of upgraded dampers. Option#2….find stock springs from someone who upgraded springs (there is less drop on scat packs…because they come from factory with sports springs)….same install process and less beat down on your struts/shocks) PS….its all cosmetics (aka hype. No data.. vehicle A had xxx role in 60 degree curve st 85mph and vehicle B had yyyy role a z% difference)…Nope just opinions…like this comment…the only figures I got are $$$$

I have the Peformance (or Sport) Bielstein Stage 2 set of springs/shocks/struts that came with the build in my 2019 RT Coupe. I find it to be way too stiff/harsh on slow back roads for my taste. To the point of giving me a headache. Fine on highways. As I understand it, they lowered it by 0.5" and put 1" bigger tires on it, for a net zero lowering. I was trying to figure out the most economical way to simply make this 100% street driven home use car ride a lot more comfortable. Such as just changing spring type? Or do I need to go with coilover/with adjustable dampeners? Other?
