The turbo kicked in sooner, with more PSI, and at higher rpms if you did the $300 Hondata reflash for an extra 26hp/30tq.

Ha, I was looking for a video like this for the RDX yesterday. Stop it lol. I didn't hear about the turbo lag in previous encounters with this thing (reviews etc) We drove an 07 when it came out and it through me in back in my seat lol. Awesome car.

Our 11 Honda Odyssey was bought in a color similar. I'm sure your familiar with smokey topaz metallic. I love the color :p

lol soo happy. I just got rid of the accord with the transmission problems. As for now, a relative lent me a Lexus RX450H. May end up going with a Honda Accord EX-L V-6 in Dark Amber Metallic with Ivory leather!(no navigation.) for options on my accord I'm getting a wing spoiler and remote start.

When you say "this is the old Honda head unit" or "this is the new Honda nevigation system"....is there any way just by looking at the interface to tell?

Watching you stand on the gas till redline is grating to watch. It's hard to tell a person driving an automatic that they are doing it wrong. But you sir are doing it wrong.

@awada85 hahaha yeah that was cheap of them. Honda tends to only put hood struts on their V6 vehicles... you would expect the Acura to have them tho. You can def see a bit of cost cutting in the RDX. Its def time for a redesign soon.

"no hood prop??" acura doesn't give hood props in their cars??? ... didn't know!! I will be sure to check next time I m going out in my RDX. might consider doing a trim upgrade to get one then .... :(

@MichelleWritesSings I don't believe I was hating on this car. I like it, but you can't argue with the fact that the Turbo 4, while a quick engine has uneven power delivery and is a gas guzzler. That may be fine in a sport compact but in a luxury SUV its unacceptable, hence why Honda switched to a V6 in the new model

@accordguy0325 I believe Honda is working on a 1.6L Turbo for the CRZ. This engine is a ga guzzler tho, they need to develop a new turbo engine that matches the MPG of the other manufacturers new turbo engines.

why doesit use so much gas??? I thought the turbo using the exhaust to add more power would NOT burn extra gas... I dunno

I was pretty excited when I saw this sitting out back, snatched the keys up immediately lol. 30k? You can buy a new one for that much over here....and it has a 'better grille'. I'd have to agree with you about the color...I'd prefer the white or the black. Btw....for those hating on this car, you....simply can't afford it. I pay cash for my cars, so...go back to your huge payments.
