I have Autel 608 Pro II as well. I have a dealership, Mechanic and a body shop. We are not a locksmith and work on our own cars only that we purchase from the Auction. One of my employ stole the key for one of our 2008 Audi A5 5 Speed when he got fired. Anyhow, I bought a key from Amazon or eBay, I don't remember and I followed your instructions which are very very clear and detailed, however when it comes to key learning, it fails. I noticed in your video that your Key Fob went all the way into your fob slot, my fob doesn't go all the way like it is suppose to. Originally I thought that because my key is not programmed, that is why it is doing it but seeing yours all the way go tells me that I am missing something. Any insight will highly be appreciated. Going to start automotive locksmith business, if I understand it correctly: a percentage of AKL is easy with only using the autel machine and a percentage of AKL is difficult and requires taking some parts of the dashboard or other compartments out?

You have a lot to learn. Key blanks fccids transponder chips etc. I've been doing this for 9 years and still don't know everything. But I have done things the dealership couldn't even do.

Is 608 connected to obd or xp400. I saw both side on xp 400 had some connected cables?

608 connects to the OBD. The XP400 then connects to the 608.. you NEVER connect the XP400 to the OBD port as the voltage can damage and ruin the XP400's circuit board.

@jeffh3938 that's weird. The only time I get that 999h wait time message is when I go to add key through vag servers on smart mode. Don't choose the car model. Just go directly to expert mode, system selection, and mqb. I never had an issue doing that way. Is your tool up to date and in a valid subscription? If it is, I would call autel and ask them to oversee the procedure by remote connect to your tool. It may be a glitch in your software. And if it's a blade ignition, it should add key in auto vin detection, and following the steps, you may be choosing the wrong system that the car has.
