I am not sure if many people realize this but you may not need tap the key fob to either open the door or insert it to turn engine on. I have an xdrive 328i as well and to lock i tap the door handle and unlock slide my hand under the handle as long as the fob is in my pocket. Similarly i can start it with the fob in my pocket and just push brake and press start

Rachel Florino your car has the Comfort Access package. Not all of them have it. It was not standard. You'll know that you have it if there are three small rigid lines on top of the door handle

These bmw with the inline straight 6 are reliable if you keep the service I'm on my 2 one sold my first with 145,000 and had no major issues at all hoping for the same with this one Wich is the exact one he reviewed only mine is silver with 86,000 miles

If u can’t afford the maintenance on a BMW you no the rest but if u can afford go for it The most reliable BMWs are the non-turbos
