Worked for me follow the steps if you have a e92 make sure to use a long screwdriver small enough to fit all the way to pull the trigger

Thanks for the upload pal, but...Unfortunately my one didn't come with that cable there! No key hole on the boot, Seats don't fold! No Valet switch No Nothing! I'm so badly stuck.😒

So mate, you will have to put 12 volts - with jumper leads to your jump start terminals under the bonnet Sux I know I currently own one & it's a bad design fault.

Hey there, I’m just now remembering that I had to push up a panel to get to the cable hidden behind it. Search up on KZbin “328i e92 open trunk with no power”. This is the video I learned from but the video is not very well displayed. It will indeed show the panel I had to push around to access the cable. Good luck to you👍

Jumper cables. Even if your battery is disconnected. Works great.

@@SuuMyyDii It doesn't. I just popped it but there's no trunk release. I managed to use a battery pack under the hood and open the trunk.

@@Alex-kf5vu i had to pull mine hard to the right and it didnt pop open. I had to lift up my trunk while I was pulling it.

Also I removed the middle part thats rubber that you press on to pop the trunk. It was easier for me to get to the string from there.
