Sorry man, but I came here because I am stuck trying to remove my injector rails. You didn't really show how you got them out and you really didn't show how you got them back in, you just show the part where it's stuck. I can see that by looking at my car.

So I found out two things today. You take the rail out that is closest to you first, don't even start to get the other one loose, but I did take all the bolts out of both of them. The fuel lines at the right side of the rails have to be removed to make room. To get both rails up you need to shift them left to right as well as twist them, but ultimately when it is almost loose, the trick is to then lift one end more than the other (rather than try to take it out while keeping it level). Apart from the effort to break the injectors loose from the engine, I did not need to pry or hammer anything to either get them out or put them in. It is still not easy, I tried and failed several times to get the first rail out. The SECOND thing I learned is that those very strong clips that hold the injectors in, they are NOT to be removed. I do not know what they are called, but I will make a name for them that will help to explain how they work, the name is - Twist-Lock Clips. Use a channel lock to twist the clip and it goes sideways and releases the injector while the clip itself just rattles around loosely on the rail. When you put the new injector in you line the clip back up and spin and lock it. To be more clear, the clip has one end that has a larger flange, think of that end as not being allowed to move, almost as if it was attached with a hinge, it's the rest of the clip that has to be rotated about the axis of the injector.
