I drove my car around for awhile with the following configuration: TSP LTs installed, TSP high flow cats, Stock mufflers with mypass mod. It had a good deep tone, but very little volume. I then took off the high flow cats and installed the offroad pipe that TSP also provided. That was the only thing I changed. WoWZerZ what a difference.

Hi wanted some advice. Have 2012 ls3 . At the moment I have only added corsa cat back and k&n typhoon intake. Been very satisfied with the no drone corsa. Am thinkin now of gettin headers. Can't decide between kooks or arh. I will be doing a tune with the headers.. I just feel that when you get headers you definitely get increase in hp and volume from exhaust, but doesn't the note change. It sounds more raspy than deep grumble. I have seen it in clips of corsa with headers and corsawithout headers. Even in your clips wot with borla attak only sounds great but with headers its just louder but tone is not the same. Or maybe in person it's better. What would u suggest?

Well the headers do make it more raspy! Without them in my opinion it sounds cooler because it's a nice deep grunt but with them makes the car have more HP and higher pitched. Just put on what you want, they both sound great but if your goin for more HP then do the kooks long tube headers.

hey man this is my car, I had my brother upload it. the car put down 407.91hp and 399.77tq before headers, after headers and tune it made 437.02hp and 430.72tq. that's a 29hp gain and 31tq gain just with headers and tune. it was done at Vengeance Racing in Cumming GA. The sound is much more raspy and MUCH louder, I have no cats so the smell of fresh exhaust is there as well (I like it, most people don't). If you don't have emissions requirements, get the full deal. If you do, you can either get high flow cats for the shorty headers (sound great but they're 700$) or get the long tubes with no cats (1300$). Kooks and American Racing are both good quality, all Vengeance sells is ARH but I liked the videos I saw of Kooks. hope this helped

Not having the cats is what makes this so much louder. My high flow cats on my old c5 made it a lot quieter. I removed them for more grunt. It helped a lot. I'm guessing you had cats on the other video without the headers installed didn't you? Especially since you mention that the car currently has the catless extensions that kooks makes.

that's right, the first video is with a Borla Atak cat-back and k&n intake. This video is the addition of the kooks cat-less LTs and dyno tune. This is my car on my brother's account. The GoPro doesn't do the sound justice

Wat does the skip-shift eliminator do?

TheRealRonnie Chevy has a system in camaro's that sometimes makes you shift from say 2nd to 4th cause it increases fuel economy. So in that situation it won't allow you to use 3rd. So the eleminator simply gets rid of it so you can shift how you want. It's a dumb design to save gas...
