That tiny radiator hose on top next to the big hose is the bypass hose, this car has a weird way of releasing trapped air in cooling system. I had to loosen it up and let it spit all the air out and worked after going to bunch of mechanics

I see you refilling coolant in the overflow reservoir, which takes very little because its the overflow only, not a fill spot. I think you should refill and burp/bleed through the detached coolant fill location on the V6, which is on the driver's side of the engine manifold next to the power steering fill spot. The cap has three symbols on it for pressure and hot water warnings.

Did you have any power steering problems after the radiator has been changed ?
@AutoWizard943 жыл бұрын
No sir I didn’t not, maybe you had low power steering fluid and when you replaced it the little it had leaked out
@ghos6t Жыл бұрын
What was the reason for you changing it?

My buddy believed that was the problem, I am not a mechanic I did it per his request

auto wizard do you know why the coolant reservoir leaked?
@AutoWizard944 жыл бұрын
The Reservoir tank comes with a flap that lets the excess coolant out I thought it was broken but that’s just how it is. I ordered a new one and it was the same

I see ur using green antifreeze I thought all Camaro's used orange DeX cool? And I know ur not supposed to mix them??????
@JohnSmith-lf8kg3 жыл бұрын
@@robert8578 that is the gm recommendation, but I would change to the green one. The orange coolant in the long run creates a nasty sludge in the engine that sticks and cause problems later.

Is it broken?

It didn’t seem like it was , my friend had taken it to a mechanic Because it was overheating, so they replaced the thermostat and water pump. My buddy said it was still over heating and the mechanic was going to switch it out next but I thought I’d give him a hand
