I well recall my first dance with Lisa. We danced one song, and before the second I asked her where she was from. I was amazed when her reply came in an unmistakably authentic English accent. How could she be English and that good and not famous on the British Lindy scene? Alas, she had moved abroad. I also recall hearing her say in a blues class "There is no room for the baby Jesus", which carries a very specific meaning in that context, and it was good to hear.

I should not be as surprised as I am that Lloyd danced with Lisa, or that he watched this video, but I am. The cross over between the dance world and the Community of the Sword is pretty small.
