I've no doubt, that the XKR is one of Coventry's finest, with a supercharged 5.0 litre V8 producing 510 bhp, menacing good looks and luxury. The Aston Martin DB9 is no exception either. Good looks, menacing 6.0 V12 with 450 bhp and luxury. Both the Aston and Jag are the best British bulldogs for the 21st century.

Thanks for including 0-60! I like that little bit of info being included along with horsepower and torque :)
@IKhanNot12 жыл бұрын
Nice. It still has a lot more life left in it. I know it's a dinosaur of an engine but it's the simple design that makes them so bulletproof reliable and they still produce good power and torque if done right. The Corvette is living proof of that.

+imhoman I absolutely loved this car. My only gripe about it was the transmission. It was somewhat sloppy and not really up to par with the car itself or rather the engine and driving dynamics of it. Other than that, beautiful car.

@IKhanNot12 жыл бұрын
No I agree that the Germans and Japanese can extract a ton of power out of their engines no matter what the size. On top of that their engines are smoother and more refined. Some American motors like any of the GM small block V8s might be old in terms of design but they're bulletproof reliable and can produce quite a lot of power. Some legendary German motors like the M62 were great but still had their issues. Heck even MBZ V8 motors can blow gaskets and what not.
@yamahonkawazuki13 жыл бұрын
Kyle am wondering somethign, if you have COMPLETE electrical failure, and doors are locked, how do you enter teh car?,
@IKhanNot12 жыл бұрын
I was replying to a person who wrote 5 liter engines in American cars are less powerful than 2 liter Euro motors. I said that a small and powerful engine won't last as long as a big old American V8. I wasn't talking about this car which indeed has a British built motor.
