2011 malibu rear door glass part 2

I watched all 4 of your videos on how to replace the Malibu glass and it was easy. Hardest part was getting the door panel on and off which was to be expected because they are always a PITA to get off and on again. I replaced my rear passenger side glass and everything was exactly the same as you showed the only thing is my little clip to hold the window glass onto the carriage to go up and down was smaller (not GM glass I bought Chinese glass for 60$ to my door) than the hole so I just wrapped it with a little bit of electrical tape until it just held itself in by friction then I dropped the glass down into the inside of the door lined it up and snapped it in, is that how you reinstalled your glass because I know you showed taking the clip out with a punch on the inside and you don't have to try and deal with getting the clip lined up working inside the door. Mine was broken glass so I didn't have to do that I just had to find the clip inside the door before I swept out all of the glass. Thank you, I'm pretty sure you have the only video around on changing out this glass for this year make and model of car so I really appreciate it brother. Be safe, Dustin

Would this process be basically the same for the front doors?

I know I'm about a year late to the party here but I just did my rear and I would think it's pretty much the same, it's going to be a little different because the glass is a different shape and there is no quarter glass but just make a mental note of type of clips and how they attached the trim because manufacturers don't vary the way something is done to much with something like this front to back. They like to use the same parts and pieces to save on cost so I would say its either the same or very similar to it. This was just my opinion though.
