Yeah I think it's the manufacturer cutting cost on maintenance. Also it's good because if you don't change the oil at all wrecked the motor so they make it so it's easy to have a problem

I may have said this before, based of my own experience using Amsoil in the past two years, Amsoil helped improve engine performance and made my car sound quieter and the same experience goes for my moms 2006 Toyota Sienna that just reached 156,000 miles on it. With the signature series, although I don’t drive 25k miles in one year, I know I can leave the Amsoil SS oil in the engine for a whole year or more and change it out once a year at 8k to 10k miles, some times I’ll change it out up to 12k miles with no worries.

Of course thanks for being a part of the channel John! If you run the signature series motor oil you're good for $25,000 miles. I recommend changing the oil filter at 12,500 if you're running the amsoil oil filter that way it's a little earlier and you'll have better oil flow. If you're doing severe service driving in the city in high temperatures I would definitely do oil analysis at 15,000 mi and see where you're at. that way you'll have a good judge in the future and then you can say and adjust how many miles you'll change the oil at. All subarus sound like shit at cold start. Usually all the noise goes away after 30 seconds to a minute. Obviously the second start wasn't cold. Im sure it was warmed up off camera. For all you naive folks out there.

Yeah amsoil is totally different where it actually keeps the film longer on the metal it has additives that allow it to cling to components and keep that film strength. Yeah the Toyota's have a lot of issues with their lubricants transmission problems and also the motors burn a lot of oil I think they change the fluids lately and they're now different. I've had a lot of customers with a lot of issues. The Honda seem to hold up a little bit better
