We retired our only EF this year, a 2008 and it was still my favorite bus to drive 🥲

Do you work for First Student cause these tours are awesome. Shocked the Child Checkmate alarm wasn't working. I think it was disconnected. Go on the left side and check if the Harness is plugged in then you will know.

To think we just bought a used 2010 and this 2011 is being retired. Any Thomas I have been on has rattled in some way, it seems to be in the Thomas genes

How long do some school buses last in service before it gets retired after being used in service?

I’m not a fan of the Thomas EFs. Sounds like this EF has similar problems with our 2009 EFs. Wheel rattles and the fuel gage doesn’t work. One of them (our old Bus 12) was the worse bus I have ever ridden (Not just School Buses but also Transit Buses). Right now, all of our EFs are in process of retirement. Right now they are all spares but once the remaining 2008 A3FEs are off route, those would take the place of the EFs we have. Not sure how the older EFs are, thankfully we bought D3s instead of more EFs for our 2012 buses.
