If you have trouble getting the bulb out, try twisting it at a 90° angle and taking it out while it’s still attached to the wire. Then separate it from the white part. My headlight was original to the car and I couldn’t get the bulb out for the life of me until someone gave me that tip👍🏼

I am going to try this too tomorrow. My car is 8 years old and first headlight change. I managed to finally wiggle it off on the passenger side but gave up on the driver’s side, it WOULD NOT come off and with the battery in the way it was harder to maneuver on that side. Thanks for the tip!

When I first looked under the hood, I was completely intimidated by how sophisticated everything looked. After watching your video, it's all so easy now. Yup this works. Be patient and rock the washer reservoir filler tube back and forth gently while pulling up, and it will pop. I have really large hands and it was still kind of a tight fit but it worked. Thanks very much for posting this!

IIRC you have to access them through the inside of the truck. Used to have a 2011 SE, this 2017 replaced it after the 2011 was totaled. Both good cars.

Thank you for sharing this, I just showed this to a guy at an auto parts store who then went and put it in my car I don't know a whole lot about working on cars it was $18 for the ball when I gave him a few dollar tip as well, but that's still weigh less than most mechanic shops would charge or even oil change places would charge to replace that light.

I've used this video as a guide twice. Def appreciate 🙏. Probably the most important and potentially difficult step is locking in the bulb. It needs to be inserted and turned at the correct angle and location otherwise it can take forever. If u hit it right it's a breeze.
