2012-2020 Nissan Pathfinder Cooling (Radiator) Fan Replacement

Today we have a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. The customer's concern is that there is a noise from under the hood whenever the air conditioning is on. We diagnosed the issue as a faulty set of cooling fans and show you how to replace them. This job should be the same for 2012 Nissan Pathfinder 2013 Nissan Pathfinder 2014 Nissan Pathfinder 2015 Nissan Pathfinder 2016 Nissan Pathfinder 2017 Nissan Pathfinder 2018 Nissan Pathfinder 2019 Nissan Pathfinder and 2020 Nissan Pathfinder.

I like that you did this without draining the radiator and removing hoses like i have seen other videos do. I suspected it was unnecessary to do all that. Now I'm pretty confident i can do this myself.

reporting back that I successfully replaced the assembly. I now understand why other videos showed draining and removing the radiator hose. This was very difficult for me to do having to work around that hose. My hands are just too big. I do have a question though. How important is that foam seal around the fans? Apparently a piece came off during installation and about 2 inched of foam ended up getting sliced up. Everything else is in tact, but im not about to take the whole thing out to put another seal on unless absolutely necessary.,

what i wanna know is why does the fans kick on when the heater is on and nothing else, its not on auto or defrost ?

Is it true this Fan is the cause of my cars stop when i drive lik 10 to 15min? And once i turned the Ac one in less than 4min the car will stop. .

I have the same issue that just happened to me. You didn’t show the fix on the fans themselves. Do you replace each fan separately or does that whole assembly have to be replaced? Thanks for the video!

It was an aftermarket part that came as the whole assembly like that. But you can get just the motors if you look for them.

Make sure to keep the module of the original and install it in the new Fan .. or it will stay on even when the Ac is off 🙁
