On a new machine under warranty you should likely use the Can-Am oil. I was a warranty admin for many years and I know how things can go.

Maybe on polaris machines. Can Am warranties are pretty lacks

U don't put diesel oil In a gasoline ingine . I drive a my semi for a living. I put diesel oil In my diesel. An gas oil In my gas engine.

I only run diesel oil in my kids' small atvs. Does great! Seems like all my toys are the only ones not broken like everyone else I know. Just got the 24 renegade. I assume it's the same process as I doubt they changed anything
