I replaced my 2015 with LEDs. Same process but I would not detach wires until the dust cover and bulb are out. A lot easier. In fact, no real need to detach wire connector on outside of dust cover. Taking out battery also a big help to get to driver side bulb.

Exactly, finally some smart guy. it is pretty obvious that you don't detach wire from outside of dust connector.

Can you say why exactly did you replace the bulb? Was it too dim? I have a 2014 RDX with very dim short beams. I ask because I have read that the root cause of most dim headlights is due to issues with the projector and not the bulbs, I’m no expert, I just need to know before I get into some rabbit hole. Thanks.

Working on my 2013, the pry bar broke a piece of the covering, making it harder to remove

That looks difficult, ugh. The dealer charged me $400 for my last one to get changed. I dont want to give them $400 again.

Don't ever pay $400 to replace a bulb. You should be able to get that bulb replaced by anyone with a just a little mechanical ability to do it for say about $50 . That dealer should give you $350 of that back to you; what a rip off. Also watch a different video; it's a bit of a pain but definately not worth hundreds of dollars.

@@antonio1729yes and safer. That screwdriver slips and hits that negative terminal and he’ll learn to remove the battery…
