KZbin has a lot to answer for!! I agree with Steve and am going through exactly the same process as him having been a jazz fanatic for over 50 years then these unbelievably great kids with the guidance of the even more great JC produce absolutely authentic and top quality jazz equalling that of the old masters of the craft. It is a dream come true that jazz is back, even better that it is being performed by this group of young and older musicians with no preconceived ideas, no egos, just doing it for the love of the artform, still accessible to us ordinary fans. I've watched a lot of these videos and impressive as the lady said to a very talented Mrs. Motifs and company, including her sister. In my younger days I tried mastering the alto sax, flute and trumpet, but only succeeded on the flute and trumpet. Today, some jazz and bossa nova on guitar. Very well done. Congrats!

I wasn't watching, just listening to Billie Holiday's version of this, and this auto-played right after. This is obviously a different voice than Holiday's, but it was intrigued and delighted and when I then went to watch I was astounded to see such a young woman singing. She is a vocal master well beyond her years! Sheesh, that was 7 years ago now, I wonder what she sounds like now...!! Gotta go searching...

Oui, et qu'est-ce qu'elle a grandi par rapport au temps où elle interprétait son premier "Basin Street Blues". Son Coach, Joan Chamorro est également à féliciter dans l'évolution d' Andréa ainsi que dans celle de toute son "école" de jeunes. C'est la musique que j'ai pratiquée depuis mon plus jeune âge, et suis ravi de constater que, quoique certains en disent, elle n'est pas à la veille de s'éteindre.
