My original mirrors only have power adjuster I just bought new towing mirrors like yours do I have to do some rewiring to have signal lights and reverse?

Factory wiring harnesses are usually capable of handling plug and play for turn signals however if you purchased new tow mirrors with the reverse lights on them. You will have to run a new set of wires to the fuse box and tap into the reverse light fuse with a fuse tap. Similar to the installation in this video!

One question, brother, when you step on the brake, the red light of the turn signal does not turn on as a stop, also from the mirrors. I ask you why I installed mirrors like this in my 2012 silverado and grab the signal where you connected.

The red turn signal should only come on when you put you’re turn signals on. Since it’s plug and play with the factory wiring harness. The only thing that you would have to wire manually is the white side lights to you’re reverse light fuse in the fuse box!

ok my friend thanks for your answer but my truck does not come from the factory with turning lights in the mirrors I adapted them and they work well it does all the functions but what I do not like when I step on the brake they work as a stop grip the fuse signal number #1 10 amp fuse and left fuse #3 10 amp fuse engine fuse box says left trailer turn/brake light trailer wiring auxiliary body control module XBCM

I got them on my Tahoe and there eh they go up when i reverse and don’t always go back to the set position

Does your mirrors have heat to them? My 2012 GMC Sierra SLE 4x4 doesn't will this matter?

very detailed video until the end where you didn’t show how you got the wires through the firewall. very frustrating to waste an entire afternoon trying to figure out how to get around the firewall nicely. ultimately had to put a hole in the rubber grommet and run the wires through.

I didn't know my factory mirrors had heat until one frosty morning they looked like they defrosted. I touched the mirrors and it was warm.

I thought those lights would have there own switch to turn on or off when needed instead of reverse only. My super duty has a push button and I can light up anytime. FORD😎

You can get these mirrors from either; Ebay, Amazon, or BoostAutoParts.com. If you buy them from Ebay or Amazon you can buy replacement parts from BoostAutoParts to get them to work like OE mirrors. I bought my mirrors from Ebay and then bought the wiring kit to make the mirror lights turn on with running lights and work as turn signals. Boost Auto sells new LED turn signals, new mirror caps and more. I did this to my 2012 Silverado 2500 and now I am doing it to my 2011 Silverado 1500. I did mine on a budget, got mirrors first then bought the other parts after. Boost Auto has great how-to-videos on their website and on KZbin on how to install all of their parts. Hope this helps
