Had an '10 Escelade before getting my '12 Qx56 and I must say, GM has done a wonderful job with their luxury line!!!! A very powerful SUV and it is also a show stopper u will def get noticed in this birth or it higher trim level counterparts!!!!

If you are coming from a car, then this kind of vehicle would be disappointing but I have owned several Yukons and expeditions as well as 4Runner and explorer. All of them have been about the same, average 15mpg over the life and I’m ok with that except when it is a gutless 6 cylinder like the 4Runner. I love this big v8 and it’s Mpg is the same as the Toyota six. Doesn’t make sense but true.

I wish this car have in Malaysia. I have experience when I ride this car in saudi Arabia. GMC Yukon Denali XL. Very nice car. quite and so comfortable. Ride from Makkah to MADINAH with this car and very comfortable to sleep on the journey

GM suvs are currently my favorite. The new Ford Explorer is Front-Wheel drive, which is alright for most vehicles, but I expect an SUV to be rwd with optional 4wd. Also, the interior is more stylish and the suspension is more well built for offroading than the Explorer, which is a restyled minivan.

The plus/minus buttons on the shift column are for "manual shiftability", as said in the video and also displayed on the dash with the large "M" at the end of "PRND". The button you're referring to is called the "tow/haul" button.

I used to think this one was lame as fuck lol. The new one at least has a more burly grill and better front entertainment system. This one is boring compared to the new one. But it is _far far far_ away from ugly. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I had the chance

Love the Tahoes, Yukons and Escalades but for the price they're going for new I'd probably go for a used Lexus LX570. The interior quality of the Lexus plus the refinement is absolutely amazing. I do like these SUVs though.

You should try out a camera stabilizer, just for the shots for the interior,it makes it smoother, easier on the eyes for the viewer, and maybe even a nice mic mounted to the hot shoe. Just a suggestion.

5 years later the Motor went bad on my 07 Yukon Denali XL. Oil Pump went out and it isnt holding Oil Pressure. Not safe to drive her at all. She has 350,000 Miles.

Can someone tell me why all of the Yukon Denali don't have real 4x4? All of the lower models like the slt have it and it's located right beside the headlight knob. When Kyle gets in the truck you can see the empty hole beside the light knob where the 4x4 selector should be. It makes no sense to me that the highest trim of the Yukon doesn't have 4wd and only "awd" and is basically just traction control.

My guess is luxury. AWD is on constantly, no having to select 4WD. Since these are marketed as luxury SUV's they probably figured the people buying these cars new wouldn't be using them like a Wrangler or where true 4WD would be necessary, but used more for traveling around town, going out, etc in style. Therefore AWD would be just fine in potentially wet/snowy/icy conditions, and they wouldn't have to worry about forgetting to put the SUV in 4WD as its already always on

I know it's just a magazine, but the one I have right in front of me says that the GMC Yukon Denali 4x4 did 0-60 in 6.3 seconds & ran the 1/4 mile in 14.8 @ 94 mph. Pretty damn quick.
