good video, thank you. When you say "be careful" with the solid steel idle gear what did you mean? dont put it in a vise and hit it as hard as you can with a hammer? Dont hold it on a disc grinder for 20 minutes? dont throw it in a lake??

I think you had rebuilt incorrectly. the two washers shoud be outboard of the cog

do you mean that the last (thickest) plate should be placed in the shallow grooves? i often saw that the thicker plate is placed at the very beginning? can you please explain to me the correct order and method for cbr1000rr 2009

also you need to soak your friction plates in g4 oil overnight before you install it

the washers should be outboard of the cog I think that's why you got the noise

Need help. I replaced the clutch cover and every time I try to put it back on the startor shaft doesn’t catch and it’s been a couple times now. The washers according to the manual goes against the cover if I’m not mistaken

I have 2008 cbr1000rr that the clutch is stuck do you think that because of it the gas pump does not prime? I can't start it up at all ..

jose sanchez no i dont believe so. have u done alot of burn outs cuz just like a car if the clutch heats up and pretty much catch fire it burns it together where they get stuck could be ur problem. also will the bike turn over and the bike move? if not the clutch could be fine. check ur kickstand switch. I had that problem but the bike wouldn't even try to start

The bike moves only on neutral .. I will check the kick stand too.. But whe i put the bike on first gear and apply clutch the bike does not move is like if I where not applying the cluctch ..

when you did this did you have to replace any gaskets at all

no. there's no gasket. I put honda bond for gasket seal

This video is abosuletly no help at all. Pull the plates and document how you put them in.
