I appreciated the fact that you: 1) Went to the owners manual first to guide in basic troubleshooting process, 2) Clearly showed the fuse box location, 3) Clearly showed the fuse-puller location, 4) Had the flexibility to depart from the owners manual and remove the battery, 5) Noted that the bulb model number was there on the holder, saving time looking it up at the auto parts store,

Thank you so much for this video. I have had my 2014 Civic for 5 years and had never seen this error before. I skipped right to checking the bulbs and lo and behold, the driver side bulb is out. Off to O'Reilley's!

My headlight was out in my 2015 Civic so I went to the auto parts store. I decided to just get both lights changed. They tried to help and couldn't get the bulb in. This was night time and the next time I took my car out it was daytime. The check DRL System warning came on. I took it to this service shop and they got the new bulbs in fast. On the way home, I saw the DRL warning was on. I pull into my work garage and it goes off. Then when I drive past the area with no ceiling, it comes back on. When I get out and start messing with the light settings, I see the empty bulb spot. It took me longer than it should, but concluded that they took the wrong bulb out at that parts store and that the daytime running lamps and headlights are seperate. Now I need to get a new bulb for that lol. But I saw u point at the spot where my missing bulb is. So that was extra confirmation. I am no mechanic lol. Gracias.

Yep it was my left light off thanks much but I notice that when I uses my high beam DRL light went away

I have an 07 honda accord and mine just happened while driving out to my dad's at night in the country and my lights were flickering I couldn't turn my high beams on and my battery light came on. I just bought a Brand new battery 3 weeks ago. Could my issue be more than just a runner light issue?

Its very hard to change a light bulb without taking out the baþtery on a çivic.

So im sorta at a loss rn, I own a 2012 honda civic and I have no daytime running lights, but I dont get an error message to check my DRL system, and the low beams and high beams work fine. I've yet to check the fuse though so Ill do that first and see if it yields anything.

There is a separate bulb for the daytime lamp. Make sure you’re checking the correct one.

​@@dadbod6113 Do they have different fuses? I have a 2012 as well and my right DRL doesn't work all of the sudden. Change the bulb and nothing. It seems there's no current.
