Excellent review, Looking at trading my wife's Jazz(Fit) for a Civic Euro, after a drive in this my wife loved it. Not the fastest car on the road but heaps of fun and I found the handling was excellent. Drove the Turbo Veloster on the same day, the first one to arrive in NZ, I was blown away by it's acceleration.!! Would never have though Hyundai would come this far, a year ago we purchased the Elantra Elite (Limited) and it has changed my mind on this brand, fantastic car.

Definitely would want the Turbo induced version! Would like to see that 4th door also! I think Steve liked this car a lot and I can see why! Though I would probably have chosen the Mazda3 S hatch with the 6 speed manual in velocity red!

9 sec 0-60 is not bad, my old 98 mustang v6 had a 0-60 time of 9.8 sec and it felt kinda quick for its time.

Don't forget about the stop start always getting hit with your hand on a manual when you shift is not the place placement for that button.

Front is a FAIL! Too cheezy and non-discript. Rear is surprisingly excellent. The power is missing, but good for city driving. 40 mpg is awesome compared to my speed3's 28 hwy mpg (and on premium gas :( Wheel design is top notch. I sat in one and the interior material is unbelievable!

@9992103 Pretty much every auto car upshifts automatically even in manual mode.... It is not really that slow for the segment and a turbo is coming. You have to learn that hyundai is making good cars just accept it
