I sat in the Jeep Wrangler when my grandmother was buying the grand Cherokee and I felt so comfortable sitting in it went up high enough for me to see over the staring wheel and that's great bc I'm really short 😂😂😂

My uncle has a 2008 Wrangler 2dr Rubicon 6MT and the engine is so unrefined and slow but I love the car it's so much fun to drive (in a Jeep way) and quirky.

I remember renting a 2008 and a 2011 those times I went to Moab just for half a day pretty much. It was too much fun to drive on the trail, but of course was not a performer and the wind noise was deafening at 60 mph. I would probably get a Grand Cherokee for day to day use

I've got a 2013 Jeep wrangler sport 4x4 with the soft top and is the 2 door model. It's got the 3.6 V6 and 6speed trans. I've had it 6 months now and I've put a set of 285 75 16 AT tires and no lift kit but I've done some upgrades to it and just over the weekend I put a winch on it and having a ball in it. You can do a little bit to the Jeep and have a lot of fun with them.

Nice review of the Wrangler. I agree with you that the hard top is well worth the price (around $995 or so, IIRC). Even if you're a soft top fan, I'd recommend getting hard top first and buying the soft top later. From what I can gather, the hard top + Unlimited Sport is far and away the most popular Wrangler. At most dealerships I go to, it's actually hard to find a 2-door Wrangler, since the 4-door is much more popular.

There has been a lot of issues with the Chrysler V6 Pentastar engine, I guess in time they will work out the bugs, but I've read of a lot of head gasket failures at low miles.

Great review. I'm looking at the same one, to possibly buy, and was looking for more info. I've been a JEEP fan since I bought my very first brand new vehicle, 1986 Jeep CJ7 Renegade with removable fiberglass hard top. Lost interest in those 1987 and beyound Wranglers, those stupid square headlights. Took Chrysler 10 years to figure out that the front grill was an icon. great vid, thanks for sharing :)

I think your mistaken between automatic gearing I think you mean 3-speed automatic instead 4-speed automatic its shares tranny with late Jeep Cherokee since 2001.

Wow this is a great review and I agree the 08 had hard head rest. And He said Dinger meaning door chime. Some people need to get sound proof head phones or better speakers. I am using Beats Solos and he said Dinger. So people get off of it. And I am black and I can tell the diffence.

I bought my 2013 Jeep Wrangler with 17,000 miles 2 years ago and since then the ABS sensor on the tires have locked up twice without any warning. I had one of the sensors replaced Sept 2014 and now exactly 1 years later I was driving on I-75 outside of Atlanta on Friday afternoon when my brakes completely locked up without any warning. Thank goodness it did not cause an accident, but there is SERIOUSLY SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH A VEHICLE THAT THE BRAKES WILL LOCK UP ON THE INTERSTATE WITHOUT ANY WARNING OR OTHER MECHANICAL PROBLEMS. After finally making it back from Atlanta I was able to drop the car off at the dealership and they want to charge me $230 RIDICULOUS! The last bonus to owning a JEEP is each tire has a sensor so if I continue to drive this junk I have 2 more tires that can lock up with out ANY warning. This is a LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN. THE DEALERSHIP NOW WANTS TO KNOW DO I WANT TO HAVE IT FIXED SO REALLY would you put your kids back in a JEEP?

Honestly their hatred for newer Toyotas is justified and I totally agree with it. It's not like Toyota can't crank out a quality built car with good reliability, the 90s variants of all Toyotas were very well made and had soft interiors. Now they're still reliable but dang the interiors are garbage and it sort of comes off as a "fuck you" to the customers who are very loyal to Toyota.

Unless your boat is made out of lead, most 20ft fiberglass boats don't way 3,500lbs which is what a 4dr wrangler can safely tow. And to be honest, I used to tow my 18ft Regal back in the 90's with my 91 wrangler.
