Well, I sold my busa and now am the proud owner of the mighty ZX14R, in black. My friends and I took a 335 mile spin in the mountains around Sierraville/Downieville Ca this past Saturday. I could go on and on about this beast, but can truthfully say I have never been on a smoother and more powerful bike in my 40 years of riding. BTW, at 6'2 and 165# the stock suspension settings from the factory are perfect for me. I love this thing!!

I really enjoyed this review. Thank you. I was listening carefully and was not surprised when I realised that the rider did not change out of first gear the whole time. On the drag strip reviews I have seen that first gear does from 0 to 120km/h which is over the 110km/h allowed here in Australia. It really is a beautiful bike and I would love to have one. Subconsciously I think I am saving for one. New in Australia it is $20,000.

Sorry bro, I just bought one about 9-10 weeks ago, brand new and it was $24,500. But I can also say it was worth every penny of it, it is the best bike I've ever owned.

Your superb review and a little homework of my own resulted in me purchasing a used 2013 ZX-14r here in southern Japan! My wife was a little disappointed but I didn't tell her about your channel so no bad vibes headed your way. All is well... still have the bike and the wife... and my 1996 Harley FXSTSB!😆

Hi, the handlebars are not that low and the riding position bears no resemblance to the ZZR600. I have just passed 600 miles on mine, am 49 and 6'2 tall and find the bike really comfortable.I had a Honda Blackbird a while back fitted with Heli bars and a taller screen and put over 42,000 miles on it but feel that this bike is better in every way, including comfort. Go for a demo ride if you can as the bike is incredible and is what the Blackbird replacement should have been.

Just picked one up. Last 2 bikes are V65 Sabre and GS1150e. Big? Heavy? Feels small after those two bruisers, with twice the motor. Has power like electric locomotive.

can i ask how you got to record voice whilst riding...i own a very good helmet cam but so far have been unable to achieve decent voice/sound recording. this video gives very good voice over while giving a very good background of the engine and road noise..what equipment did you use???

This is a good example of moto-journalists being hired for thier work on paper, then youtube comes along and everyone falls asleep when they get on camera Nice job dude, you've made the hardest accelerating stock bike in the world as exciting as a ninja 250.

It's because you're old(No offense). For us Younger Riders that are used to being stuck in a flat backed CROUCH style riding position on Replica Racebikes...The ZZR series is pretty comfortable. If you want a comfortable power cruiser with touring ability...Look into a Suzuki M109R, V-Max, XR1200, K1200GT ect.

cans cut down on vibration? Seriously? The stock cans are way too heavy... 2 up? Seriously? Do you actually ride motorcycles? If you think this bike needs a turbo, you obviously don't own one.
