I loved what he said about the superintendent. He was right too, the dispatcher owns the railroad on his shift. He was not at all too pushy or cocky in what he said. The Dispatcher is the man. It is his show unless he is outranked by the corridor manager or chief dispatcher. They made the hierarchy like that for a reason, IT WORKED. That is what I loved about the railroad. Common sense solutions in an orderly way.
