Such a great video I had to watch it again. This is, in a word, epic! To win a GP at your home GP, in front of so many fans and to beat Herlings? Amazing!! Nothing comes close here in the US MX Nationals. You might win in your home State but Country? Even if you win a USGP, it's not the same. Our fans don't get so excited about GPs. Anyway, a great memory in a stellar career.

I have only just found your channel Tommy, I wish I had been able to see this in person but was working in F1 at that time. I have seen some amazing Moto cross events over the years but my MX was back in the late 80's so Thorpey and Whatley were the boys then oh and Dobby too great to see James in this video. Best of luck with your British campaign this year, now I'm retired from Racing myself I would love to try and catch a round or two this year if at all possible. Really enjoying your blog video's .
