2012 Nissan Murano Test Drive & Crossover SUV Review

www.autobytel.c... The 2012 Nissan Murano Crossover SUV looks sharp and more refined than previous models. The Murano has a base price of $29,290. There is only one engine choice available but that's ok because Nissan venerable VQ35DE engine lives under the hood. This 3.5 liter V-6 makes 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is good for a crossover at 18 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway.
On the inside Nissan has really stepped up the game on the Murano. Heck if the Nissan badges weren't there you could mistake the interior for an Infiniti. The great navigation and the comfortable leather seats work well to create an inviting environment for the drive and passengers. The 2012 Nissan Murano is based on the Nissan D platform so this crossover SUV handles and drives more like the Maxima. If you are shopping for a mid-sized crossover SUV then the 2012 Nissan Murano should definitely be considered.

Just hit 200K in my 2012 Murano SL Original owner. The car is amazing , in 8 yrs of ownership it never stalled, failed to start. All miles are city driving, I pull 3000 lbs boat in the summer.

I’ve owned my 2012 SL for a year now put 40k on it, only issue I’ve had was a muffler leak $100 repair. Great car pulls right through the snow, heated seats, heated steering wheel, 22 mpg, very comfortable, I’ve grown to love this car!

It's an awesome crossover. I own a 2013 AWD model and it drives just like a luxury vehicle. I don't know why some people hate it! :/

I Inherited a 2012 Nissan Murano AWD SL with only 12,700 miles from my grandfather. The car was so meticulously clean. He would often wipe it down every time he went out. Made sure to give her a fresh wax at least twice a month. When I first saw the car I thought it was ugly, but after staring at it, give it a little bit of time, this car is nothing but beautiful. a total gem that Nissan produced and something I love to drive.

I have an 04 Murano and an 08 C350 Special Edition. I like the Murano so much better. Fully loaded cost around $45,000 with great service at my dealer.

I have a 2010 Murano Ti and its the most comfortable car Ive ever had. My biggest let down was the fact that it didnt have a USB or iPod connect port, I found that to be pretty poor by todays standards since companies like Ford can put them in their low end vehicles 8( other than that a great car

I remember my old nissan murano it was a 2004 good old fashioned none of the fancy screens and backup screens and radio phones just the way i like it The poor car died last year The Muffler broke and the car was barely running

These Murano's suck the bag. Over all its a pretty little crossover. But they are small. The guy says he is comfortable in the back, but he looks squashed back there. I got a Lincoln Mkx and let me tell you what a difference size wise. Better yet get a Jeep grand Cherokee and you'll thank yourself.... Canada

Made since 2003 and there was nothing then that looked like it. Now you have your copies but they don't have the 3.5l 300k plus durability motor. The Acura TL is the new style and nothing touches that. Audi for example has had the same look since 1999. All they did was add Led taillights and Headlights or xmas lights. Germans are boring.

My 2011 has a periodic burning oil smell mixed with a coolant smell coming from the center console. The dealer said there is nothin they can find wrong, and they only test drove it and did not remove the center console to inpect it. I will never buy Nissan again THEY ARE JUNK!

I did not find driving this car very comfortable my knees hurt and it was hard to press on the gas so we opted out of getting it it is a beautiful car but I found it uncomfortable and I want to feel comfortable in a car

And to add to my review and feeling about this car is it was really round so whenever I pulled into the garage it took up a lot more room than what I’m used to so we went for the Honda CRV it’s a little more sportier a little more my type a lot more comfortable and I find it just more my style

I just leased one, what a peice of shit it turned out to be. It smells like its burning antifreeze or something and sometimes I get another burning smell comming from the transmision inside the car. I bring it to the dealer and all they say is "we can't duplicate the problem" and they don't fix it.
