I've owned one from new, 2012 AWD and only had to do oil changes. Love it, comfort, reliability and fits like a glove. I am 215 pound, 5'11". A tank in snow. 46 years old, owned all the makes but this one is with me for another 10 years...

I have sport 2011 model, this car really beyond my expectation, the quality of interiors material, hard body, engine performance, and the price is cheaper than the rest cars of the same class. All in all, the best i've got in a car purchase

...just have to recommend this car- highly! Had one for about a year- 30.000 km NO problems- went fm mercs/audi/bmw/V70 (co-cars) Blinded fm anything else than german cars- but this is actually the best car I`v ever had...if u need 4X4 or not- this one will not disappoint anyone- just a really well made machine. This is one of the nicest cars I have seen in some time. Suzuki put alot of effort into this one...I just wish they cared about the U.S. market....we'd see more adbertising, and more dealers....

It is already available in the UK, although they are only bringing 500 of them every year. Saw one on the road in London's Oxford Square few days ago. :)

Very detailed and informative overview! Thank you. Just bought one of these babies (Canada). This is a fun car to drive (CVT and paddles is a good combo) and its features can compete with more expensive luxury cars (i.e. on/off push button) One feature missing in your review which is available in the American version:a 2-wheel / 4-wheel drive on/off button (this is would be located where the light wash button is on the videos car model). Makes this car that much more fun to drive on curves,

The thing of KIZASHI is explained very finely and the thing of the equipment which is not in Japanese specification was also understood well. I'd like to use my own car in the near future using the method of reimport. Thank you.

I REALLY like this car! It's a shame Suzuki is not popular in America because honestly they dont make bad cars, this looks really nice and should be fun to drive with the AWD! Now if only they let us buy the manual transmission with the AWD...

I was told that the CVT gearbox in the Kizashi is the same one used by Nissan in their models over here like the Sylphy and Teana. So I'm guessing some of the parts came from there? The key fob doesn't really look like the one from Nissan, probably only the rest that you mentioned? Haha.

the starter motor sounds exactly like the one from the Forester. other than that it's a pretty damn good car.

Maruti did everything ahead of it's time then. People did not accept this great offering as they had a fixed image of Maruti as just a manufacturer of cars for the Mass and not for the class. People were hell bent towards extracting the best Milage from a Maruti Car and KIZASHI wasn't fitting there well. The sales got down and eventually Maruti had to discontinue this. After bearing such a massive loss, Maruti stopped manufacturing such great vehicles.

Kind of boring review even the car has so many awesome story to tell. Having watched some overseas review and they managed to explain every single details about packages available with technical info, which actually the Kizashi specs lead accord & camry during that era. And some testing done proved Kizashi better than A4 & C class... anyway thanks for this video as rare Kizashi reviewer frm Malaysia

just bought a 2015 kizashi with 22,000ks on the clock that model has reverse camera and GPS and sunroof as standard great cars but suzuki stuffed up the marketing they really didnt put much effort on this car now its stopped in australia i got the last model and they have depreasiated 50% in 2 years

Still got it? Should easily be able to pick one up for 8k or less now, I’m in Aus looking for aliminium grey one with sunroof 150,000 or less, looks amazing in grey. Only see a few around, don’t think they are very well known but seems to be enough on the market. Just seems a no brainer when looking at the features for the price compared to other cars of that era, not overpriced like a lot.

i think japanese manufacturers do share their technologies among each other...? keyless entry & start is by Nissan, alarm and radio head unit is by toyota... Subaru also using Toyota's Keyless entry & start system.

Maybe not so lucky. I have owned kizashi and grand vitara both will full leather and about 10 year/100k miles and everything was as new. Bmw or mini in my neighbourhood already have damage to the sides of the driverseat by then.

Then again, I guess it's a trade-off for the Bluetooth audio/phone, heated (front) seats, and heated side-mirrors. Either way--- I'd rather have the OEM hid low-beams. ha. (LEVELING!) ahh... why wouldn't they just KEEP them for the A-spec models!? daahhhhaammit.
