6:23, I don't really know how you properly wield dual katanas, but I think if how Leon does it is wrong, it would be a cool detail seeing as Splinter didn't train them to fight their whole lives like in 2012, they just learned from watching Lou Jutsu movies, and later on the short training they did with him, but in the end didn't completely use as it was not "them". Whether or not that's how the katanas should be used, I think it would be a cool detail if the creators did that with that intention. Or even more impressive if that's indeed how they are used and they all learned how to wield their weapons for themselves or in the short training that splinter gave them.

@@palemeadows Yeah, I know that the animators did it right in Rise and the ones in 2012 not, but I mean in universe. In the universe, the 2012 turtles are supposed to do it right, while in the Rise I suppose it's more of trying to copy Lou Jutsu. Like in the flashback when they were toddlers that Raph sent flying his weapon because he wasn't taught, he was just playing with it.

Leo has an odachi not a katana lol A katana has a slight curve and an odachi is strait, it’s easy to get confused though, I don’t blame you There is actually also a third sword that looks like a katana but it’s slightly longer and has a wider curve (I don’t remember the name tho), it’s main purpose is also for horse riding as a secondary weapon if you loose your primary. I recommend watching some videos about it, it’s surprisingly interesting to watch, I mean if you want to of course. Also a fun fact for you: A katana was usually used as a second option if you lost your spear in a fight, it could also represent your status, as an example someone with two katanas on their waist could be an official or a high ranking samurai (don’t quote me on this tho as I can’t fully remember)
