Wes Welker should be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame when his time comes. His tremendous toughness and durability combined with numbers that speak for themselves make him one of the best Patriots of all-time.

He was really good but I don’t think he’s HOF worthy. Unless Jules gets in on the first ballot I can’t possibly see how Welker gets in. Julian Edelman is 10X better than Welker was. Welker is worthy of the Pats HOF but not the pro football HOF. That drop in the SB was awful, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he never won a super bowl despite being to 3 of them!

@@ProudBostonian In an era where the league went airborne and terrific receivers all over the NFL were putting up huge numbers, the undersized Welker led the league in receptions 3 times and rarely missed a game. Had the Pats managed to get the last stop in XLII, w/ 11 rec. for 103 he had the vote for MVP. In my opinion, it's just much easier to make a case for his induction rather than against.

This Broncos team. 2-3 after this game then down 24-0 at halftime to the Chargers the next game. And they came back to win that game and didn’t lose a game the rest of the season. Until the playoffs vs the Ravens 😭

Yeah he throws it fast to tire them, as well as the no huddle, something that was extremely prevalent within the 2012 New England Patriots season, it worked off pretty well, the no huddle offense didn’t give the defense a whole lot of time to line up hence confusing them at snap

2006 and 2010 should be the years Pats fans seethe about. Bears made the super bowl in 2006 with probably the worst QB to ever go to a super bowl mainly because of a monster punt returner and vaunted defense. But they wouldn't of lasted against the 06 Patriots. Colts made short work of them in that game and showed that just about any decent AFC could've silenced them. And then 2010, when the Pats were 14-2 and Brady was MVP. Pats had already beaten both super bowl teams that season (steelers and packers) and had they finished off the stupid Jets, it would've happened. Of course there's always what if's, but no I don't believe 2012 was the year. We were too inconsistent on offense and had lost to the NFC contender 49ers with Harbaugh and Kaepernick that same year. That game would have been very very tough. But then again Bill always prepares better for a rematch. Who knows.
