I remember doing this often when I was little and getting in trouble with my mom. She made me lay in my bed with my hands over the blanket so I couldn’t touch myself and she would stay with me until I fell asleep. I never grew out of it, I just learned to do it in private.

Hello from Germany. My daughter does that too. The doctor said it is self-satisfaction/ mustrubation. I do not believe it. Do you have a diagnosis? Is ot RLS? How is the therapie for this?

Any updates on this? This is almost a decade ago, and I am experiencing the same symptoms with my 2 year old. In the car seat exactly like this, and in your other video when sitting on a bed, chair or a stool, she goes on the edge and does that same exact movement with her legs, I see a bunch of similar comments, if you can bless us with the knowledge of your journey with your little one, we would all appreciate it.

It’s not restless leg it’s gratification disorder just accept it. My daughter grew out of it

The name of these is ( Self Gratification behavior) My daughter does and 2 different doctors told me the same diagnosis .

Hello Kelsay, Hello from Germany! My daughter is now 3 years and she does not stop. It started from the 4 month. First she got it lying down and also in the child's seat. This annoys me animal. By now we were at 8 doctors. Everyone pointed to masturbation/ self stimulation (same nibble nails) and said I should leave them alone. And she should do her thing. The say the feeling is pleasant to the pelvic floor muscle, so she rubs it on the chair. Last time we visited the chiropractor. He said she has a hip blockage. He had pushed around on his hip and released the blockage. But when we got home, she started doing it again. I feel like it will never go away. Iron values were also controlled. Everything is normal.

My daughter started at 4 months also. Doctors dont know what it is but it looks and sounds similar to whats in the video. Is there treatment for this? Its painful to listrn to my daughter struggle doing this.

Lovely little girl,if you think about it adults sit there shaking their foot over their knee then they change legs and shake their foot over the other knee. I have seen a lot of people when crossing their legs they move the other leg up and down a lot of times. I think it's they just don't like sitting still.

Gratification disorder, they find out how to “rub one out” early on. It becomes almost impossible for them to stop without getting frustrated.
