Lol it's nothing new. The recorded vocals aren't even that great. With those screams it should be expected that he can't sing.

Pablo Viveros he just joined them in November. His first tour with the band was Motionless In White's Infamous tour. MIW's drummer sat off the the tour & Pablo filled in on drums and played back to back sets every night of the tour for CG & MIW. He did such an amazing job. I went worried about the drums not being as good for MIW and left wanting Pablo to be their new drummer LOL.

Also, in regards to Alex not singing the chorus. Did you ever hear him sing "Lilith"? It wasn't too pretty (and I'm not dissing, I like the guys vocals - but his cleans were far from perfect). When you're onstage you want the audience to enjoy everything about your performance and if you can't deliver the goods then you have to seek alternative methods in which to do so, like Pablo singing, who holds the tune far better (still not perfect, but it does the job). Sounds WAY better than before.

I read comments about screaming and singing hurting, now I'm no vocal God, but I've been singing in bands/choirs/leisurely for almost all my life, and I'm a baritone, which means a low voice. If what your singing hurts, then that means you're either doing it wrong or your pushing your vocals beyond their limit and doing yourself no favours either way. Both can damage your voice in the future and if that happens then there's only one person to blame for that and thats yourself.
