If you have a rav 4 adventure AWD you’ll have to take some plastic trim off to get to the two bolts on the side. thanks for the video !

Thanks, worked like a charm. Though like Rodrigo said, some Rav4s have plastic trim that have to be removed to get to the side bolt, like my 2018 XLE. To remove the trim, there are three 8mm bolts and a few plastic clips (which of course I broke, but not a big deal).

You mentioned rubber that fits around the screws to prevent moisture. Does this rubber come with the new assembly? Im going to order from Ebay which i think you said was ok?

I bought a 2016 Rav4 hybrid, and only the right side inner tail light is LED, the left side is not. Why would someone swap these, and only 1? this is weird.

Does anyone know how to make sure the waterproofing rubber skirt between the light and window not going to be folded underneath the rear inner light after installation? I can’t make the rubber seal go over my new rear inner light after installation. Is it because the part I bought is not genuine? Thanks!
