Aston's are Naturally aspirated engines, no turbo nor superchargers that is why it is only '510' which is plenty for anything , and yes there are faster cars, but are they more beautiful? do they sound as nice?

yea cuz theres even 4 cylinder cars (like the 2012 bmw 328i) with 240hp wich 4 x 240 = 960 a v12 with 960 is ALOT but i mean its a HUGE difference from 510 for a v12

I think it's retarded that you don't realize that this is a touring car, not a track car. The 510hp 5.9 liter V12 is NATURALLY ASPIRATED and is a pretty good engine. There are no turbos, no supercharges, it's all natural. It also sounds gorgeous. What is the problem man? You want number, you want just hp get a GT-R or a Lambo or some other super car. This is a grand tourer, used for comfort, style, and spirited long distance travel.

Something that Aston reviews fail to address, because the critics don't have the cars long enough, is the company's appalling build quality. I own a DB9 Volante and the car is a money pit. My aunt and uncle owned a Rolls Royce Corniche Convertible in the 80s and complained that it spent more time in the shop than their garage. I always assumed they were exaggerating; how could a 'modern' car be THAT bad? Well, here it is, 30 years later, and now I know exactly how: British engineering. Sure, the cars are gorgeous, exotic and lovely cruisers. But using one regularly means you're always dealing with stereos that crap out randomly, phantom warning lights, malfunctioning sensors, trunks leaking water when it rains, oil lines that blow at 18,000 miles, brake pads that wear quickly and unevenly, squeaks, rattles and a jittery structure. Drive one if you ever have the chance but, if you decide to buy, realize that, unless you plan to own it for just a year or two, it is a long-term commitment and if an owner gets three weeks without something breaking then he's witnessed a miracle.

Well, I don't know about that. I can't speak for Aston Martins but I currently have three Jaguars and they are all FINE. My '95 XJS even has 200K miles on it. I don't think British engineering isn't any worse than a Toyota. I don't care if the washer bottle sensor light is on and that I can't replace it without replacing the entire bottle or that the fuel pump is in the gas tank. I take care of my cars and they take care of me.

dislexic landlord i have had a db9 now and i have driven 79000 km and i have never had a problem with the car what so ever. maybe its because i keep it very safe and secure in a garage where it is not going to rotten at all but it is still running like on its first day.

I’m actually in the process of getting an ‘09 DB9, I do agree though, the radio and navigation systems need to evolve up to modern devices, other than that I’m looking forward to getting mine and just drive it everyday

I take something back...although the taillights on the db9 aren't my favorite in the world especially compared to the vanquish taillights which are awesome. I admit a db9 in a red / dark burgundy color with the contrasting clear white lights WOULD look awsome!!
