For future reference there is a small hole on the left hand side of the tensioner that you can put an allen wrench in and it will hold the tensioner out of the way to get to the alternator, so you do not have to remove the tensioner. You have to move the tensioner with the socket, and there's a little hook on the left hand side of the tensioner and it will expose the hole you can put the Allen wrench in

Could I just put something to block the tensioner from moving and unscrew the last screw from the alternator ?

I’m hearing a high pitched noise near the alternator but it doesn’t really sound likes it coming from the alternator car also has rough idle when this happens
