This is the first Cadillac I actually like. Styling is nice; looks better than the CTS. The interior feels luxurious as well; well eclipsing the 3 series. I personally think the 3.6 V6 is on the thirsty side (vs. the IS350 & C350). A 2.0T with the magnetic shocks would be my pick. The CUE is a meh; not as bad as Ford's system, but I prefer the rotary knob simply because your eyes never leave the road.

For me, I'm surprised how much engine sound is heard thru the cabin w/windows up in this new Caddy. I hear nothing but the engine growling. No road or wind noise (that's good)!

I think Cadillac has something here with the ATS when considered in the context of it's class of competitors. Very sexy design and what appears to be a robust engine make this one to watch for sure!

There are three settings normal or touring mode (the car is always in this mode when you start it until you change it), Sport mode, and Snow/Ice mode. I have a 2013 ATS 3.6L Performance package.....Sport mode on it is very fun to drive in

Bob I just picked up a 2014 ... it’s everything you see in the video! Pull is strong ... engine roars in the cabin. Mine has 61k but sweet. Mint condition 👌🏽

That is one hell of a car! I test drove one and was very impressed all around. For a naturally aspired V6, this car moves too... It traps over 102 mph through the 1/4 mile and gets great gas mileage too. Very impressive.

When you're in PARK or NEUTRAL and you give the car some revs, it just stops at that certain RPM; even if you plant your foot all the way to the floor, it stops at 3,300 RPM haha but the once in drive or manual mode, you can rev it as much as you want. I know this because I work at a Caddy dealership

@@arsenone8583 i cant speak for the other but i bought an ats premium performance 3.6 triple black with the oem 19s, Cadillac certified in apr of 2019. Car had 33000 miles on it, i got it for $23000! The sticker was $52000 new!!! I absolutely love this car!!! The magnetic ride control suspension is amazing! Also the 321hp 3.6 is impressive. Just thought I'd chime in on your comment!!! Lol. Also just wanna say the ats is a very underrated car. Actually a engineering marvel!!!

Proof GM is getting serious about becoming the standard of the world! Finally, an American luxury compact sedan that can compete with the superior German engineered luxury sedans! The biggest downside to this car is the CUE system, which is said to be frustrating while in use. But overtime GM will refine I'm sure. If only the performance of this vehicle were in the XTS.....

Stupidest comment ever. BMW gauges are some of the best in the business because of their simplicity and legibility while these are some of the absolute worst. These gauges were installed on pre-bankruptcy GMs, why is GM rehashing old memories people would love to forget?

The 3.6 is the way to go. The smaller displacement turbo engines are just boring AF, like 328s and c250s. Also they REALLY need to get rid of that gauge swipe. It's extremely slow and kills the whole feeling of "sporty".

Piano black and yes, Brad would be correct. It's the haptic feedback that you hear. I tried out this (called CUE "Cadillac User Experience") in the Cadillac XTS and it's a bit harsh sounding. It's not as subtle as the vibration you get when touching you get from your smartphone but it's the same concept.
