I recently changed my valve cover gaskets and vacuum pump. Now I'm having battery issues. Will bad/damaged spark plugs cause low voltage in battery?

Sorry for the late response. A damaged spark plug would cause a misfire in the car would run rough. Could you explain you battery issues a little more.

what is the grease for? Where do you get it from? Does each coil pack have to go back to the specific hole it originally came from?

That is Anti seize makes the plugs come out easier for the next tune up. The coils are interchangeable. Doesn't matter the installation order.

Just pull up on all four corners of the cover, it should pop up.

Some of them has 3 screws in them plus take the oil filling cap off .

I mean by that is, feeling like the screw or spark plug is not screwing in smoothly. It means the groves are offset. This causes cross threading.

Dumb question.. will broken coil packs cause shaking because my malibu is shaking

Yes it will cause misfires

Not a dumb question but yes it will. The boot keeps the electricity directed to the plug. If they're broke it will spark outside the boots. This can cause a misfire.

Have faith period. Worst case would've been to get another one. Don't forget we're human also, and no one is perfect. Since the plug wasn't damaged there was no issue. Another thing one plug or the whole pack would have been my cost replacing the parts. Either way make sure you don't drop one or more. It's always 1 who sees faults. You may have forgot or don't know. All plugs have a cardboard cylinder to protect the plugs from small drops as you seen. If I dropped it bare to the ground, it would be a dead plug to me. Everyone else is thankful for the video. ✌🏼
