The 3.9 quarts assumes you did the drain at level grade. Since you raised the front, you drained more old oil out. 4.5 quarts with a new filter is about right.

Just did mine the other day, ended up EXACTLY where you did at at the end 4.4 quarts it seems. Used the m 110-a Mobil 1 filter... I thought I overfilled until I saw your vid

Yah that mobile 110a filter can go 20k miles. Not that I would leave it on that long !

Really? You might assume that novices will be interested in this video. You did a great job of telling what you did, but very little instruction or display on how to do it. Which way does the drain bolt turn to loosen, tighten, what size wrench, what torque on the drain bolt; how to get the filter off; exactly which buttons to push when you reset the oil life-you skipped over all these items. So, what did a novice learn?
