Man! Thank you so much! Thanks to your video I was able to find the issue with my 2013 Explorer with the same symptoms! Great video!

Excellent diag Sadel! A lot of good information in the video and the more you add cloning ECU's the more interested I am in adding that part to my arsenal! If you can let me know who you have taking classes with about it or just learn by doing it! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Sadel! we always learn a lot from your videos!

I have taken some in person training on the subject but a lot has been just researching on my own and also practicing

That’s wild how far scanners have come! I have the same exact issue going on with my 2011 f150 Ecoboost and I’ve been trying to trace the problem for weeks now. Only difference is mine will actually start just fine, but randomly just lose communication with the pcm out of nowhere and that’s when I get those same codes. I gotta reset the pcm by removing the relay for a little then just plugging it back in to make it home sometimes. I’ve ran out of ideas on it, haha

Great diag, Sadel. More proof to never, ever, use a garden hose (God forbid a pressure washer) to clean the engine compartment!

Genius as usual.. I'm wondering why the corrosion not pulling down the signal??
@DTEAuto8 ай бұрын
because the corrosion just acts as an insulator and so there is no metal-to-metal contact so there wouldn't be a way to tie it to a positive or ground just same way as it doesn't tie it to its corresponding can high/low pins. Hope that makes sense. Thank you for watching

I wish I could get a better picture of the bus drawing fighting the same thing on my f150 but with the 6.2l

How does the obdstar compare to your other cloning tools
@DTEAuto8 ай бұрын
It has been working well but I have had some issues on not reading some that it says it can. But overall I like it, just keep in mind there is barely any support at all, if any.

So, do you think the original ecm was bad ? Im going to say no, so now he has an extra ecm now.

Clearly this plug has been an issue in the past. You can tell by the aftermarket taping that it has been relocated to somewhere potentially "more dry"

Wha' doo u say, bro, 'bout "good lookin' bus"? It clearly has horrific RINGING on edges. It ain't no "good lookin' bus" on my farm down here. This ringing is by itself already is a diagnosis. So, me recon that RINGING indicates some short or bad connection or missing resistah
