2013 Ford F150 Wipers stuck on intermittent! Wiper switch replacement

Anytime the key is on the wipers will run as if they are on the slowest intermittent setting. Verified repair as a bad wiper switch

Thanks for the video! Was at dealer for a few problems, and declined fixing wiper speed because it was $350. I have fast and slow, but not intermittent, so I can live with that, but now I can do myself with your video!

I've got a 2013 STX 5.0. My issue was my high beams would get stuck in the "on" position so I couldn't flip them off. I got an estimate a couple years ago from a shop and I want to say they quoted me around $200-300 to fix it. I said forget that, I'll just have to live with it. So I haven't been able to use my high beams in a few years. After watching your video I bought the OEM multiswitch part from O'Reilly's for $60 and installed it in about 15 minutes. Now my high beams work perfectly! I'm so excited, I flip them on all the time while driving down the road. It's such an exciting feeling to fix things on my truck. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Worked for me. Commenting for engagement. Klein 11in1 screwdriver has the small torx screw size

I fixed mine by just bending up the 2 small contacts underneath the circuit board of the wiper switch. Solved the problem without replacing the part.

On my F150, a 2007, it was the actual module in the motor. When Ford wipers ghost run, its almost always the module in the motor.

Thanks so much. This is an easy fix that anyone can do providing they have a t-10 torx bit, flat screwdriver and a 7/16 socket/ratchet. 10 minute job for a rookie

I have a 2013 F150 broken steering column control module for multi speed wipers,signal lights ,window wash,& high beams control hub module... It's the plastic hub part on the steering column that the multi switch plugs into that's broken

Mines been doing that on start up. Imagine having a frozen ice windshield , during. Hope there’s a cut off lol and now they won’t shut off on intermittent, keeps going on slow setting when off. I can make it stop by flicking it all the way on and off. Guess I better get a new unit or fix it like that other fella

I’ve got a 2010 F150 and have replaced the switch twice and the motor once and it still does this. The first time I replaced the switch I fixed it for about three years and it started again. Replaced the switch again it didn’t fix it this time so I replaced the motor still no fix.

The new switch from Napa fixed the wiper issue (they were stuck on intermittent). However, now the windshield fluid button is not working. You dont even hear the pump trying to run. Any thoughts?

I have a 2014 F150 Base model XLT. I'm having the same problem. With the Intermittent wipe switch to off the wipers still are on the lowest setting. But I'm also seeing the right turn signal flashing fast. The left turn signal operates at the correct speed. Will this fix that issue as well? Thanks

@@tomvana4270 from what I can tell it's not the same fix. In fact, mine has gotten to the point where if you turn it all the way back it will continue to have the sprayer on and the wipers do not increase their speed. So I'd be super careful about this.
