LEDs flicker really fast that the human eye cannot see , but when captured on cameras , most of the time it ends up like in this video , it will be flickering. I think thats because of the LED flickering at a rate different than the camera is capturing.

Like the car, but few minor defects such as paddle shift gears ( ITS A SUV) , wiring is seen on the floor poorly made interior but nicely done outside.

as much as i tried to understand where you are coming from and to a degree i did but if you look at the new explorer which is the reason why the new rover looks the way it does is because ford bought Land Rover the Range Rover has always had an distinct look its boxy styling not that heritage is gone because Ford wanted it to look like a upgraded explorer instead of a range rover

Er...Ford sold Jaguar Land Rover 5 years ago.They were actually holding back Range Rover & Jaguar design because they though Americans didn't like change & wanted old-fashioned looking vehicles. Which is why the previous Jag XJ looked exactly like the one before that, despite being a completely new car (!) The only reason there is any "heritage" at all is because the Range Rover was modern & ground-breaking when it was launched, which along with constant refinement, ensured its future success.

I just don't see any difference from this vehicle compared to the Subaru Forester. I mean the price is a lot different. But both are go anywhere vehicles. Both have cargo capacity. Right? ;))

This seems to have alot of trim problems. The center arm rest won't come down, the front glove box won't open/close correctly. Small stuff like that pisses me off. I'm sure if LR just put in a normal handle for the glove box, it wouldn't be a problem. Cool SUV, Wish BMW still owned it though...not some Indian micro car maker.

What? Range Rovers were made to be the only vehicle that was luxurious and would be EXCELLENT in offroad terrain to accommodate the British aristocracy and their hunting needs. Seriously.. it's why the Range Rover was invented. To give the rich British people something to drive offroad or pull a horsebox through the mud. A cheap Jeep is for bumping offroad, this expensive beast is to gracefully and luxuriously move through the landscape in full comfort. I"m serious.

As much as I like Subaru's this is just in a different league, as a man who has driven both of these SUV I can tell you you just don't get that sense of quality or style that you get in a Range Rover, aslo it has ALOT more gizzmos and fancy toys.

Who was the week videographer? Said enough at his failed attempt at trying to lower the middle rear seat alone. I'll blame that on the britts inapt ability to refine mechanical adjustments. Also they have an terrible knowledge on quality of electronics from experience of my lr3.

Actually it's the other way round. Ford copied the styling cues from the Range Rover Evoque / LRX concept. The Explorer is just a cheap knock-off, like a Chinese Rolls Royce: watch?v=Ui6nXI8YFvY

You're welcome. You're right about the similarity, but it's the Explorer that looks like the Range Rover, not the other way round - hence my first reply: Ford copied Range Rover's new styling direction introduced by the Evoque and made a cheap knock-off. It's not Range Rover's fault that Ford is now copying top British cars, just like the Chinese! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ;-)
