I have a 2014 Lincoln MKS that wouldn’t start. Yesterday My neighbor who’s a mechanic told me the fuel pump may need to be changed and I could have it towed towed to a shop the 1st thing in the am and they’ll look at it. I called Firestone to get an idea of pricing and and they quoted me $900 for a new fuel pump. I woke up early in the am to search online and came across this page. I drove to auto zone the first thing in the am and bought the part for $50 at auto zone. Followed instructions on the video and the car started with no hesitation. Thank you my guy 🤜🏿🤛🏼

Life saver bro that just happen to me at work so I call up the closest dealership and went and got the part, switch it out with no tools and I’m ready to roll again , I will secure it when I get home.

I thought I’d need a new fuel pump for my 2014 MKS and was quoted $900 at Firestone yesterday. Saw this video and then this comment that matched my exact year model and make and became really hopeful. My 2013 Lincoln MKS lost fuel pressure on me yesterday and then eventually stalled I’m definitely going to try this before I get it towed anywhere! Thank you for this video! So is it the same part for the Ford Taurus as the MKS?

It's the part I would try first because all your other options are expensive.

How many miles, and did you have any DTCs? Not sure if it's my fuel pump, or the module.

It's the first thing to try, easy and cheap. The problem really acts like a fuel pump.

I drove the car all day i go and change the plugs and coils now it won't start i was a little low in gas

I would find out what error codes the computer is sending before doing anything else.

You don't have to take the seat out to change the relay. You do have to if you are going to change the fuel pump. What I'm talking about is finding the error code that the computer in the car is sending out of why it won't start. It's the first step before you start a big project.
