I bought a one-owner 2011 PRHT last year with only 36,000 miles. This past weekend I changed what I am certain was the original diff fluid, and it was dirty and smelled horrible! Planning to go ahead and change the transmission fluid while it's up on jack stands.

Excellent video. I have a whining sound when I hit 50 mph only with foot on gas pedal. Do you think this could be my issue? Thanks.

NC diffs are known for this issue, I'm fairly confident new fluid can reduce the noise but I can't remember

I've done mine with a pump. Last time I used a bag container and it was much easier.

It seems easy enough, really - my biggest question with doing this type of work myself is how to dispose of spent oil. How do you handle this?

Burn it if I can, otherwise most auto parts stores have recycling, as well as your local dump. Call around.

Bonjour et merci pour votre instructive video. Pourriez vous me donner la marque du pot echappement que vous avez installé sur votre voiture ? Ca fait un joli bruit de moteur . J'ai une Mx 5 NC de 2008 qui a tout juste "4000 " km et je trouve qu'elle ne fait pas assez de bruit a mon gout . Je pense que c'est un pot en inox ? Merci . Bonne route avec ce merveilleux joujou .
