By far one of the best videos about the trackey. None that I've found so far were very informative about how to activate it. Seems most were just focused on the different idle. I bought one a month ago, same color, #2637. I'm assuming what Ford Performance sent, and UPS has not delivered yet, is all the info/papers for the trackey. I could care less about the different idle... I just want to experience the difference the trackey makes, lol.

The difference I found with the track key is backfires on engine breaking. So far that's it. But my tires are dry rotted and break loose because they're basically hard rubber at the moment.

Idle has an aggressive sound. Does this setting change the sound otherwise, like does it give a racier driving experience under acceleration, or just a lopey idle?

Increases low-end torque, hp, and quicker throttle response. Also opens up ability to use the launch control feature.

I assume you are talking about the myColor system. No the BOSS 302 does not have it.

i,m sorry bud, but that sound is NOT a lope! a 3 quarter race cam has a very definite LOPE! its a sound you don't forget. they can get kinda musickee...song like for a lack of a better term

In person you can clearly hear the lopey idle, When the Boss 302 was being developed, Ford released a video of the Boss 302 with a more aggressive lope but (CARB) California Air and Resources Bureau said the tune was too aggressive to pass California's emission regulations so they tuned it down a bit.

This is a completely stock vehicle that, as george palacios stated had to pass government regulations. Of course you are going to get a huge lope with aftermarket cams. This is basically a tune from Ford that gives the car a more aggressive sound (as well as other more performance oriented features).

9000 rpm? Please. My 95 civic has a 9000 rpm tach in it, but that's because it actually has a short stroke motor in it that in theory could hit those revs safely with a bit of valvetrain work. American car manufacturers these days....

the boss 302 can be tuned to rev safely to 8100rpm and still make power.

opivyapathy Right? this child obviously needs to do some research on these engines. The Boss 302R and boss 302S are known to rev up to 9000rpm.

I don't think Boss Mustang was saying "HA HA HA my car has a tach that says 9000 RPM's" HAHAHAHA Sounds like you have a bruised ego.
