I absolutely love it! I've had it about 8 months now. I still love it as much as I did day 1! haha

HeyThisIsGraham do ya remember the exact price bro
@GrahamCain8 жыл бұрын
check American Muscle. it wasn't cheap but in my opinion it was well worth the price.
@GrahamCain8 жыл бұрын
Roush also sounds awesome and is a good bit less expensive, just not as subtle or friendly for daily.

Best sound I've heard yet for the v6.
@ThunderThighs9 жыл бұрын
thanks man! i was between either roush or the s type but the roush is is way too raspy in the high end. borla keeps tje exhaust from screaming after 4k rpm and keeps a nice roar.

@Jay Ochs Haha I think the S Type and Atak have the same tone. It's just that the Ataks are a bit louder supposedly. It's hard to differentiate over video. And the shift knob is OK. Considering it is 30 dollars, its a lot cheaper than most shift knobs. Mine is the white resin one and after several months, its not the same white it was when I bought it. It's actually like an off-white color now. Although it isn't the same white, it's not noticeable until you really look at it. From just glancing at it, it still looks like white. And I have never had a problem with the retainer boot ever since I installed it 1 year ago.

Hey bro, I love the roar… do u have anything in the exhaust setup other than the S type?

That intro had me on the floor, "fuck the police, police ain't shit" lmfao
@JayOchs9 жыл бұрын
sounds great. man, no matter how hard i try, i hear absolutely no difference between these and the ATAK's. i've got the ATAK's on mine, and i swear it sounds identical to this lol also, how do you like that new shift knob? i've read some negative reviews about the boot retainer chipping and it not being worth the money..but that white resin one is only like 30 bucks and i'm thinking of getting it.
@ThunderThighs8 жыл бұрын
Oh crap. Sorry I just saw your comment now! My friend had the atak on his 2011. Atak is louder but also a bit more high pitched. It might be hard to notice difference in tone through video. The only problem I've had with the Modern Billet shift knob is that it faded a lot to an off white color. It also scratched pretty easily.
@JayOchs8 жыл бұрын
I love the white shift knob, h ad mine for like 2 years now probably and it's still great. I also put some Touring on mine and love them more than the ATAKs!

Honest opinion, can you listen to music with this type of exhaust installed? or does it drown it out. Thinking of getting the same ones for my mustang, but i would love to be able to hear my music too. ThunderThighs
@ThunderThighs9 жыл бұрын
You can definetely still listen to your music. If you roll up your windows, you can only hear your exhaust a little bit. Ive never had a problem where i couldnt hear my music because of the exhaust. This is only a muffler upgrade so it shouldnt be too loud in the cabin, especially on a v6 haha.
@hansski19959 жыл бұрын
I have a procharged v6 with full exhaust (Borla s type axle back) and I can say that Borla has done their homework. It is so nasty and aggressive when you want it to be, but when just cruising, daily driving, it is not overwhelming. And I love music, and can still enjoy it with my set up and my set up is way louder than in this video. The drone is very minimal, considering what it is and compared to other exhaust that I have heard while sitting in the car while driving. I would highly recommend the borla S type!!!

Is the noise in the cabin overpowering? I know theres no drone since its a borla but do you think it would start to hurt your ears after driving a couple hours?
@ThunderThighs9 жыл бұрын
absolutely not. it wont hurt your ears unless you have an ear problem haha

My car is just like that. is your car an auto or stick? i think manual has different resonators.
@nathanrobinson26808 жыл бұрын
ThunderThighs its stick but I never took that into account when looking at exhaust for these lol. So I go to see another video and it's not poppy because they have auto lol but yours is stick so it's poppy. Thank you
