King DLee I have not upgraded to front reading lights as I saw one video indicating that it is a single diode and I did not want to damage the housing and wiring.

Kyle Baldwin so it's possible to do? they're saying it's LED but it's clearly halogen

I believe it is possible but it's much more complicated because there's a direct diode rather than an actual LED with wedge base or festoon style. It's the OEM 4300K color rather than the 5000K or 6000K to match the others. I just didn't bother to disassemble it and figure it out because I didn't want to alter the wiring and I have no idea on how to solder anything. I wish I could remember what video it was; I would definitely share it so that you could see exactly how it's designed. If I come across the video I will for sure share it.

I hate that the responses stopped. I bought the bulb and I can't figure out how to get it in. I think it may be stronger than me. Lol. like everyone else am in need of a gear light replacement video also. Thanks for the tidbit here it was very helpful. I'd forgotten the light was even here.

Sorry that I haven't uploaded new videos in a while. With KZbin updates on policies and uploading videos, it became harder for me to keep doing it as well as my daily life responsibilities. I haven't done the shifter light yet, as mine still continues to work after 9yrs and the brightness is appropriate for it. I'll look into it and see if I can do a video about it soon. Much appreciated!

Great vid..fyi..you don't need to remove that right panel. It clears on the left, so it will clear on the right as well. Just pull it down, if it won't budge you can pop it down with a flat head screw driver.

Is there a way to get at the bulbs on the instrument panel? I have an engine light that's constantly on and there's nothing wrong with the engine, I've had it checked by mechanics. I'd like to pull the bulb because it's annoying.

Hey I took mine off about a week ago and I can't find a led that would fit. I also checked the owners manual and it has no description on the bulb. I wanna know what did you use. And my next project will me the instrument cluster changing to LEDs.

Most of the times are questions that I've previously answered to someone else and felt people might dislike me saying the same answer over and over. In regards to your comment of doing the videos for the views, I don't get a dime from them. KZbin continues to update their terms and unless you're a full time youtuber, you don't get to collect anything from doing the videos. For me it's more about teaching people how to save money on easy DIY repairs, than monetizing from it. Thanks for your support!

Make a video on how to change the interior button colors. For Example the color in the steering wheel buttons, push start, and automatic shift P,R,N,D,D2, lights.

ProducedBy ONE In order to change the color of the interior buttons, you'll need to remove the rubber cover that the light bulbs have on them. The only problem is finding different color ones unless you like having white/yellowish lights once you remove the cover sleeve from the bulb.

Moises Schini I believe this is a 74 type bulb. I had called my Nissan dealership to ask them the part number and just search it as an LED online. Good Luck!

You will have to install a switch to control it separately. I left mine with the light switch, just replaced the incandescent for an LED bulb

Edwin Valejo The light bulb is a 74 and you can purchase them online. make sure they are not too long that way it fits in the small compartment in the car. You can remove yours to see the actual size or I suggest going to an auto parts store to check one out and know what you're looking for as far as size goes.
