what's the best one to change for the vvt solenoid? the one closest to the front of the engine?

hello just confirming that the solenoid in the correct order looking at them from left to right, first one is hold, middle one is intake and 3rd one on the right is exhaust, is that correct?

Hello. Can the top electrical part be pulled off from the lower half. Mine comes off, even though it seems to click when power is supplied to it. Is it still okay

I wouldn't recommend it. The complete solenoids are not that expensive

There was an easier way to do it, lift the car and remove the tire, and you could get 2 from the bottom, the 3rd one from the top. It took me 20 minutes to change all 3 on my nephew 2013 nissan altima.

Helpful video and all but you did way to much extra work man! All you needed to do was take that wheel off and take that wheel well cover off and you would've been good to go.

I know. I don't have any concrete to work on, and wasn't going to trust a jack stand in the dirt.

My wheel well is welded and I cannot take it off to replace the solenoid

You can't get all 3 from bottom u need to remove what you remove good video

Thanks, I also have the same issues with my2015 Nissan Rogue Select. Just ordered the solenoid as one of them was bad. Great for sharing the video as Nissan repair videos are rare. Nissan sucks actually.

If one of them goes bad should i replace the one that is faulty? I change the faulty one and its shifting with high rpm when i step just 1/4 of the pedal? Should i replace the other 2 as well?

Reset the check engine light, and if it comes back, see what it says

@@shawnkmorse it didnt came back i reset it but it still shifts wird like really fast and high rmp with out pushing the throttle to half

@@shawnkmorse not that i know off... it was shifting right before it just sometimes would stop while idling thats about it.. and thats when i got the code p0011 which is the middle selenoid intake variable valve

I would swap the middle one with one of the outer ones
